1996Dealer's contract with Volvo Penta Norden AB was signed in January 1996 – KVARTET becomes a dealer of Volvo Penta, and Volvo Penta department is organized within the company. In the end of the year main engines and diesel-generators were delivered to Arkul Shipyard for river cruising vesse "Vitiaz", which should be delivered in year 2000.   Design office of KVARTET developes modernization project of school ship "Mikhail Balaban" for Young Sailors club in Novgorod. Modernization of the motor vessel is lead per 1996 in Novgorod.
