Project "Vostok"Cruise sailing yacht

Hull of the yacht was launched in year 2000 at a yard "Morskoy zavod "Almaz" (St-Petersburg). Yacht was designed for private client for cruising on Baltic Sea and Mediterranean.
Wide and deep hull made of marine grade aluminium accommodates three cabins for two persons each, roomy saloon, galley and navigation room, two toilets with shower. In a forward part there is a storage for sails and equipment. Forepeak with anchor chain locker and aft peak are separated by watertight bulkheads. In the aft peak there is enough place for inflated boat. Wide door in transom allows to take the boat on-off in inflated condition.
Yacht is equipped with air conditioning and heating system, fresh and hot water, toilet system with sewage tank. Fuel and water storage ensures two-week sailing.

All sails are controlled from the single place I the aft cockpit. Foresails are equipped with furling system. Main sail if reefed by traditional way to a boom. Deck hardware delivered by Harken and Lewmar.
Yacht is powered by Volvo Penta TAMD 31M diesel of 110 hp, working to 3-blade fixed pitch propeller. Ships mains is 24 V DC and take power from diesel generator of main engine, accumulator batteries and auxiliary diesel alternator 8 kW 220 V AC.
In the yacht design rules of American Bureau of Shipping, Offshore Racing Council and British Lloyd were considered. Stability of yacht conforms to requirements of ORC Special Regulation for Category I (Ocean) and standard ISO 12217 for category A (Ocean). Project is approved by State Inspection of small vessels.
Beginning of the design - January 2000.

Main engine
Diesel engine Volvo Penta TAMD 31M (power 110 hp), coupled with 3-blade fixed pitch propeller. Boat speed under motor is about 9 knots, range - 500 miles.
Electric power
28 V 60 A generator driven by main engines via power take-off, auxiliary diesel-generator 8 kW 220 V AC. Ship mains is 24 V DC.
Navigation and communication aids
Navigation and communication aids to be provided according to surveying body demands.
Standard complete set includes main and auxiliary compasses, GPS indicator, log, echo sounder, radar, VHF radio transceiver, satellite navigation system.
