Project KM 132Motor yacht 13,5 m

Design of river motor yacht (project KM 132) was developed in 1997 for company "TKK Transcontact Holding" (Naberejnye Chelny). Her dimensions were limited by maximum permitted for railway transport. The first boat was made in version different from basic design and delivered in 2001.
Main areas of exploration are big lakes and water reservoirs (class "O" of River Register). Possibility of sailing in waters of class "M" (Very big lakes, such as Ladoga, Onego and Baikal) can be considered by River Register dep[ending on local condition and experience of exploration of a vessel. Strength, stability and insinkability of the boat are provided in accordance to class "M".
Semi-displacement boat is powered by two Volvo Penta TAND 41M engine.

Steel decked hull with long forecastle is divided by watertight bulkheads into six separate compartments. Forward from middle there are forepeak and two cabins for two persons each, in the aft part - engine room and aft peak with steering gear.
In the superstructure there are wheelhouse, sanitary block, galley and saloon. Behind a superstructure there is a covered cockpit, above the saloon - flybridge with second control panel. Yacht is provided with all necessary systems for comfort on board.
Vessel has a Э О of Russian River Register.
Beginning of the design - March 2000.
End of construction - December 2001.

Accommodation
Compartments in a hull:
- forepeak separated by watertight bulkhead;
- fore cabin for 2 persons, with sanitary block;
- second cabin for 2 persons;
- engine room;
- aft peak.
Compartments in a superstructure on a deck are:
- wheelhouse;
- toilet;
- saloon with cooking stove.
Behind a superstructure there is a tented cockpit, above a saloon - flybridge with a control post.
Propulsion
Two diesel engines Volvo Penta TAMD 41M (power 2x125 kW at 3250 rpm), coupled with 4-blade fixed pitch propellers 0.61 m diameter.
Possibility of variation of power plant is provided. With two 173 kW engines speed could be increased up to 38 km/h, with single 125 kW speed will be about 20 km/h with significant cost reducing.
Systems
Drainage, heating and ventilation, fresh water, sewage, fire-fighting.
Electric power
28 V 60 A generator driven by main engines via power take-off, accumulator batteries. Ship mains is 12 V DC.
Navigation and communication aids
Magnetic compass, GPS indicator, radar, log, echo sounder, the main and portable VHF radio transceivers.
