Project 9200Oil skimmer boat

Oil skimmer boat "Omsk" (project № 9200) was built at a shipyard Morskoy Zavod "Almaz" in 2002 upon an order of Trade company "Transneft" for the port of Primorsk (Leningrad district).
Vessel is intended for cleaning of a sheltered port waters from occasionally pollutions with heavy oil products ignition point is above 600C), from floating debris, and transporting of collected oil and debris to collection place.

Steel decked boat with flat deck is powered by diesel power plant, driving a water jet via hydraulic transmission. Power for special equipment is taken off the same engine through another hydraulic pump/motor. Opened side doors with wide span grab an oil film and debris and lead them to collecting device of brush type, made by company "Lamor". The boat is steered from pilot house, while cleaning equipment is controlled from control panel, located on the aft part of a deck.
Debris are collected to special containers, located on a deck. There is a gas control system on a boat.
