Project 11900Motor yacht 12 m
| |

12-m motor yacht (project 11900) was designed for Shipbuilding Firm "Almaz" in 1998. Boat named "Sheskharis" was delivered to customer - company "Chernomortransneft" (Novorossiisk) in July 1999 and is used as service and auxiliary boat. It is intended for operation on rivers and coastal waters not more then 50 miles from safe haven, at sea condition up to 40 B.
Displacement steel boat with quarter-deck has watertight collision bulkhead and watertight engine compartment. Aft from fore-peak there is a cabin for two persons, toilet with shower and galley with small saloon. Above engine compartment there is another saloon with control post in the corner of it. Sofa of upper saloon could be transformed to double-bed. In the aft part of a boat under a quarter-deck there is a double cabin with separate toilet. On the crinoline behind transom there is a cradle for inflatable boat and the outboard ladder.

Single diesel engine works via reverse gear to 3-blade fixed pitch propeller with diameter of 0.46 m. Volvo Penta TMD 22 engine of 55 kW power is chosen for easy of registration of the boat: in Russia boats of power not more than 55 kW may be registered on simplified procedure and operated by non-professional crew. With more powerful engine speed could be increased up to 11 knots.
Boat is designed according to rules of State Inspection of Small boats. Stability of a boat at any working conditions meets the requirements of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping for above mentioned area of sailing. Insinkability is ensured if forepeak or engine compartment would be flooded; I that case stability of damaged boat conform to Rules of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
Beginning of design work - March 1998.
End of construction and delivery to customer - July 1999.
