Design office of KVARTET fulfills a full scale of design works in shipbuilding - from preliminary design and consulting to production drawings, installation instruction and service manuals. This is cover both a new built vessels and ships under modernization - rearranging, repowering, reclassification etc.
Among our projects there are new pleasure and service crafts, displacement and planning boats from 12 to 25 m in length, modernization of vessels from 10 to 700 ton displacement.
We develop all necessary documentation to approve the design by surveying body (Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, Russian River Register, State Inspection of Small crafts, Sport Boat Register, Sanitary inspection etc), and all needed for construction and delivery of a ship.
Theoretical line drawing, based on 3-d modeling, computation of speed, stability and insinkability of a ship, made with use of licensed software, general arrangement, piping, equipment and electric system drawings are the essential part of any project.
Every design begins from preliminary investigation that reveals reality and compatibility of customers demands. On a base of such study a technical specification and contract are drawn up. A standard condition of a contract include designers survey during a construction of a ship, and participation in a factory and sea trials.
